Sneak peak of Florida’s annual folk festival
This weekend not only brings Memorial Day, but also the 59th annual Florida Folk Festival to White Springs kicking off on Friday. WUFT-FM’s Brittany Thompson spoke with Tom Shed who will be performing at the festival this weekend. We take a sneek peak at the festival that highlights Florida’s indigenous music talent, as well as an all around enjoyable time for the family.

Bo Diddley Plaza in downtown Gainesville is closing Sunday for renovations. The renovations are expected to last one year and will include additions to the performance area, a new café, an informational kiosk and relocating an existing bus stop.
