“Free Fridays” concert series gets underway tonight at the Bo Diddley Plaza in downtown Gainesville

The “Free Fridays” concert series begin tonight at the Gainesville downtown plaza. Every Friday from tonight through mid-October the public an enjoy free concerts from a wide variety of area musicians. WUFT-FM’s Donna Green-Townsend talked with the Events coordinator for the Department of Parks & Recreation for the City of Gainesville, David Ballard about the popularity of this summer concert series.
