Gainesville voters are headed to the polls for today’s city elections. The newly elected commission will have a wide range of issues residents hope to see resolved. Alachua County Supervisor of Elections Pam Carpenter says results will post shortly after the polls close. Carpenter adds the turnout seems higher than last year.
