The summer arts scene is in full swing in downtown Gainesville, from outdoor theatre at the Thomas Center to a free concert series on Friday nights in the Bo Diddley Downtown Plaza. There’s something for everyone. Donna Green-Townsend sat down in the Thomas Center Gardens to talk with the Event Coordinator for the City of Gainesville, David Ballard about what’s in store.
