Here are some of the headliners for the 2008-2009 Season for University of Florida Performing Arts.
In October for UFPA, look forward to the Wizard of Oz on the 10th, the American String Quartet on the 12th, Ravi Shankar on the 14th and on October 16th, The Preservation Hall Jazz Band. For information on season tickets or individual shows, call the Box Office at 352 392 2787.
The University of Florida Symphonic Band and Wind Symphony will be in concert on Tuesday, September 30 at 7:30 in the University Auditorium at the University of Florida.
The Gainesville Community Band performs its “Dr. Charles E. Dean Memorial Concert” on Sunday, October 5th at 2 in the Lincoln Middle School Auditorium.
