Classic 89 and Nature Coast 90 host several special events throughout the year--some fundraisers, others just a chance to give back to the community:

	Fanfares and Fireworks (co-sponsored with WUFT/Channel 5) is the annual Independence Day celebration.  Featuring local and regional bands, music, and the traditional fireworks display, the event draws thousands to the University of Florida bandshell.
	A Celebration of Wine, held in February, is our annual winetasting and auction fundraiser.  Guests from across the Southeast travel to Gainesville to experience the international flavor of the tasting, which features more than 250 wines from vineyards around the world. The event showcases both a silent and live auction of special vintages and bottles, as well as wine related art.  All proceeds benefit WUFT-FM, Classic 89 and WJUF-FM, Nature Coast 90.
