Williams, Nash, Frisina leads in Columbia

The Supervisor of Elections Office for Columbia County has released numbers on county commissioner elections.
Incumbent Ronald Williams leads in District 1 with 54 percent of the vote over Oni Allen.
For District 3 Bucky Nash leads with 58 percent of votes over Mike Gordon.
In District 5, incumbent Scarlett Frisina leads with 53 percent over Tim Murphy.

Stephanie Finnell, who is running against opponent Bill Gootee, has 57 percent of votes for school board District 5. Former sheriff Gootee has 43 percent of votes, according the supervisor of elections for the county.
Candidates Glenn Hunter and Terry Huddleston are in a close race. Hunter currently has 51 percent of the vote and Huddleston with 49 percent, according to the Columbia County supervisor of elections.
Mitt Romney received 69 percent of the vote in Columbia County, the The Tampa Bay Times reported. Twenty-one of 23 precincts had been counted. Estimated registered voter turnout for the event is 66 percent.
