A Democrat-heavy county, Union has reported the following numbers in its key races:

• Republican Kellie Hendricks Connell leads Democrat Pat Cunningham in the county’s clerk of the circuit court race, 53 percent to 47 percent.
• Democrat Lisa B. Johnson leads Republican Chris Mecusker in the county’s tax collector race with 74 percent of the vote.
• Democrat incumbent James “Jimmy” Tallman leads independent Doyle E. Williams in the county’s District 3 county commissioner race with 68 percent of the vote.
