Nugent wins U.S. House District 11

Florida’s Supervisor of Elections is reporting Republican candidate Richard Nugent, with 64 percent of the vote, as the winner of the House of Representatives seat in Florida’s District 11.
Nugent defeated Democrat David Werder for the seat.
Because of district boundaries changing, the current representative for District 11, Democrat Kathy Castor, ran for a seat in Florida’s District 14.
District 11 includes Tampa, St Petersburg, Pinellas and Hillsborough.
