Big leads in Marion County races

With 80 percent of the precincts reported, the following candidates in Marion County appear to be winning their races:

  • Republican Chris Blair has 72 percent of the vote in the sheriff race.
  • Republican George Tomyn has 58 percent of the vote for school superintendent.
  • Republican Wesley Wilcox has 59 percent of the vote in the race for supervisor of elections.
  • Republican Earl Arnett has 55 percent of the vote for the commission district five seat.
